Volunteer Make Up Artist, Supernatural Tours

October 2014 - October 2015

My main responsibilities included applying special FX make-up to actors for theatrical ghost walks that are held in Winchester. I worked with the company 2-3 times a month, depending on the schedule of the events and had built professional relationships with the actors and frequent customers. I always made sure that the make-up I applied was the best I can do as I believe the satisfaction of the actors and customers is important.

Make Up and Hair Artist, Kings Theatre (South Downes Musical Society)

November 2014

I applied make-up and styled the hair of male and female actors for the show “Fiddler on The Roof”, it was important to be quick as there were so many people to work on, but I enjoyed it as I got an adrenaline rush from the satisfaction of getting it done in time. I volunteered to work side stage every night during the show and change the make-up of one of the main characters during a quick change.quickly.

Volunteer Make Up Artist, Petersfield Festival Hall

May 2015

I applied stage make-up to actors for “Pirates of Penzance”, this involved some heavy research on the show as I was unsure of what type of make-up they wore in the original. After this I had a great idea of what I had to do and the actors and directors were happy with the work I had done.

For a week in December I worked on a show at the John Pounds Centre “A Christmas Carol”, where I applied Victorian stage make-up to men, women, and children of different ages. I also styled hair and applied wigs. I was there to do hair and make-up for every show including dress rehearsal.
